In case any of you were on the fence about this book, do know that it's very likely to end up on GK's (eventual) future list of favorites.
I powered through 184 pages in a single sitting last night. And can't wait to read more.

If you looked in my search history right now this would pop everywhere. It's at the top of my TBR list!
It sounds incredible and I'm working on a ghost story right now so it's total research too. I love it when I can justify my huge book bill.
They're a tax write-off too, you know. :)
It's really good. I'm trying to pace myself now. I had no idea that I'd flown through half of it in one sitting--I don't want to devour, but savor. It's awesome. I'm reading it for plot, now, for wanting to know what happens--but I could definitely see reading it again for the sentences.
What else is on your list, Marsha?
Hooray! I'm glad you're enjoying it, GK! I downed that baby in two sittings. The newly released sequel cover is up on Kendare's blog and it's as gorgeous as the first!
Behold you power! I just bought the book.
If you're loving ghost stories, my newest Unraveling Isobel, is available on S&S's galley grab. Since you are a swanky agent type you can get an early sneak peek.
Would love to read this, it sounds great.
I LOVED this book and horror is normally my thing.
Ooh, I adore this book! The writing is beautiful, and as a YA Horror writer myself (coincidentally with a story about a vengeful ghost), it's such an inspiration to read. One of my favorite paragraphs:
"She cocks her head and hair falls softly down her shoulder. I can't think of them as the same person. The goddess and the girl. I can picture her peering out of her own eyes like they're nothing but windows, quiet and afraid in her white dress." *sighs*
(And the cover is pure awesome too!)
