I love the looks of concern on your faces as she guzzles tea. Priceless. Well done, intern. ;)

I'd sign her right now. I don't know what for, but whatever she wants to write/draw/scrawl, I'd read it with pleasure.

Aww, she even has GK leaning back in her chair to consort with the other agent. Stick figures are now officially cute.

Nice work Intern! :)

(Wow, my word verification is sluvblut - sounds a bit obscene.)

Love all of the above-mentioned and the bemused look on GK's face as she's likely thinking, "Oh no, not the become-literary-intern-to-get-own-novel-represented gambit again!" It's like she's waiting for the intern to whip out her own secret MS.

And now we know what GK's boss looks like.

Just excellent.

:)

That was priceless! You'd better see if you can keep the girl once she gets through school. :D

Um, for the blog, can we have more intern, please?

On my first day in publishing, my mentor told me, "Publishing is like getting stoned by popcorn." (He meant that it's all little details that together can overwhelm.)

Your cartoon nicely illustrates this. Thanks. Tim
